Senate Dispatch on Climate Change

Hot air rising and an odd couple in charge (Barbara Boxer and Jim Inhofe), the US Senate had it's first hearing on climate change policy Tuesday. According to Slate.com there was an unusually high turnout and a Mexican stand off between the two opposing senators.
From Slate:
"Today I expect you will hear fierce words of doubt and fear," Boxer said in her opening statement. "This is consistent with a pattern of 'No, we can't; no, we won't.' " Inhofe wanted none of it. "However you spin the debate, whatever schemes you concoct, the public will find out, and when they do, they will reject the schemes, and they will reject the spin," he said, characterizing the House's version of climate legislation as the "largest tax increase in American history."
Spin? Interesting Jim, considering the former administration actually blacked out scientific facts they didn't want the public to know about climate change.
Seed Bomb says we should plant more trees, take our bikes or walk if we can and throw a seed bomb or two around DC for good measure.
